REC awarded the Lower Silesian Economic Certificate
REC awarded the Lower Silesian Economic Certificate for reliability and quality in business.
On 28th June 2011, the Chapter of the Lower Silesian Economic Certificate (DCG) decided to award the XVIII edition Lower Silesian Economic Certificate to Research & Engineering Center.
Granted by the Marshal of Lower Silesia, the Lower Silesian Economic Certificate (LSEC) is a regional certificate for credibility and business quality awarded to enterprises whose business activity contributes to regional development, creates new jobs, and represents the highest standards of quality, innovation, modernity and reliability of performance. The mission of LSEC is to build regional identity and to support economic growth in the Lower Silesia Province by promoting entrepreneurship and by creating favorable conditions for development and growth.
To earn the certificate, REC was assessed in various areas, which included: revenue for the past three years; punctuality of payment; financial liquidity; productivity; market-position; innovativeness; pro-development investments in the company; quality certificates; and compliance with the Labour and Ethical Codes. Additional criteria, such as environmental protection activity, pro-community activities, and staff development, were also taken into account. All financial, developmental and ethical criteria were fulfilled by Research & Engineering Center.
